Put on your walking shoes and get out there and enjoy all there is to do in this wonderful city to stroll around. 1. Fluntern Cemetary

The Fluntern Cemetary is an interesting place to visit in Zurich. It is the burial place of James Joyce and his wife, Nora, and there is a statue of the author in the Cemetery. Admission is free.
2. St Peter’s Church
St. Peterhofstatt 1 Zurich, Switzerland
St Peter’s Church should be visited when you’re in Zurich. It’s one Zurich’s oldest churches. You’d want to see the outside clock of this great church – the face of the clock has a 28 feet diameter and it is said to be the largest clock face in all of Europe.
3. Thomas Mann Archives

It’s free to visit the The Thomas Mann Archives and look through the manuscripts, etc when you’re in Zurich.
Grossmünsterplatz Zurich, Switzerland
The Grossmunster is a beautiful Gothic Cathedral and admission is free. The two towers of this Cathedral dominate the skyline of Zurich along with a few other towers. You can ascend the tower in Grossmunster to get great views of the city.

6. Zurich Toy Museum

7. Urania Observatory

8. Schloss Kyburg

The Zoological Garden is the place to go and spend some time strolling along enjoying the animals. .
Fraumünsterstrasse Zurich, Switzerland
The Fraumunster is a beautiful church and admission is free when you’re visiting Zurich. It is an ancient church and parts of it are over a thousand years old. More recently there are magnificent stained glass windows by the famous artists, Marc Chagall and Augusto Giacometti.
